Twitux: Twitter Client for Linux.

 I use Twhirl on my Macbook Pro to update my Twitter and see updates from those who I am following. I was recently assisting a friend in installing Ubuntu 7.10. He also was a Twhirl user and still wanted a Twitter client. Well, after some googling we found Twitux. Twitux is the closest application to Twhril for the Linux desktop. It has a similar interface, you can veiw directs, public time line, or just your friends (the people you are following). When it is running it will get updates in the time interval you set and when updates arrive a nice little window pops up on Gnome’s top panel. I got the .deb package for Ubuntu here. Sourceforge also has the tar file here. I give the application 5 out of 5.
