To me this looks like a WALL-E character that was left out of the film. This video shows the Robostool in “follow me” mode where it uses the thermal sensors to follow your movement. The robot can also be taxied around via a remote control.

Hmm. This almost reminds me of the movie WALL-E. The part where all the humans do not walk and are zoomed around everywhere they go on personal transportation devices. But seriously, it is exciting to see another company invest in gadgets like these. They plan to start testing them in crowded airports and cities.

Are you a gadget and electronic toy geek like me? I mean, I’m not the only one out there in my late 20s’ that still goes through the toy isle at Wal-Mart to see what is on the shelves for kids today am I? Well anyway, check this video out. I really like the USB owls.
