We hate gratuitous iPhone comparisons as much as the next guy, but let’s be straight with each other here: Sprint has its sights squarely focused on Cupertino’s darling with the Instinct. From beginning to end, the carrier has pulled no punches about the model’s target audience and its competition. Make no mistake, though, the Instinct is no iPhone ripoff or clone — it’s distinctly its own beast that just happens to share a form factor and a few common UI paradigms, and depending on your perspective and the specific feature you happen to be using, that can be a good or a bad thing.
Today I updated DoubeB TV to the latest version of Wordpress 2.5. The update went without a hitch and it added some new features. The overall interface got a face lift and now you have a media management link in dashboard that allows you to manage all your uploaded media in one place. When you are writing a post there is a new media tool bar that allows you to upload a photo or video . And you have the option to just add the photo or video’s url to add the media to the post. You can add an audio file using the media tool bar as well. Also, the tool bar allows you to add media from files you uploaded to the media manager. To sum it up, I would say that the new features give Wordpress a better user experience with the addition of easier media content management.

On Wednesday March 12th Hulu will be open to the public. Hulu is a video site that houses over 250 TV shows from major networks like: “The Simpson’s” and “The Family Guy.” Hulu also has over 100 full length movies such as: “Ice Age” and “The Big Lebowski.” The site also has programming from major sports leagues. Hulu was available to view by invitation only and yours truly was one of the chosen to try it out. You can see my full demonstration here.
