June 6, 2008 - Though few suspected otherwise, it was confirmed a while ago that the Wii was destined to receive its own set of drums upon the upcoming launch of Rock Band on the console. Early pictures revealed the drum kit to be composed of Wii-matching white plastic, but exact details as to possible differences with the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions remained unknown. Today we got the chance to put the new Wii drums side by side with an original-release Xbox 360 version to see exactly how they compare.
Looks like there will be a WALL-E video game featuring the little mischievous robot. The game has 9 levels and multi player mode. And it will be available on the Wii. Watch the trailer below.
Five days before we thought it would be arriving, the Nintendo Channel has just been released onto unsuspecting Wiis. We’re currently feverishly downloading it, so we can’t give you the skinny just yet, but we know that it allows users to write reviews for WiiWare titles they’ve played and provides sortable lists of upcoming games.
The update also includes DS demos that will live on the system’s brain until it gets shut off.
